Sharjah, July 14 (WAM) - The Abu Dhabi Centre for Technical and Vocational Education and Training today celebrated the graduation of students from the Applied Technology Schools branch in the Emirate of Sharjah.

The graduation ceremony was attended by His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamid bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Department of Statistics and Community Development in the Emirate of Sharjah; Issa Al Marzouqi, Director of Applied Technology Schools; a number of officials; members of the administrative and teaching staff; and parents of the graduates.

The graduation of this batch comes as the culmination of an educational journey that combines academic achievement with technical specializations and practical application, which contributes to preparing students for university level and equips them with the knowledge and skills needed to keep pace with the requirements of future sectors and the job market.

The ceremony included a visual presentation highlighting the students' journey in Applied Technology Schools; the graduates taking the oath of allegiance to the UAE; and the announcement that the Applied Technology Schools branch in the Emirate of Sharjah has been selected as one of the top ten schools in the world for 2026 in the "Support for Healthy Living" category.

The Centre stressed that Applied Technology Schools are working on preparing national competencies who possess the scientific and technical knowledge and skills needed to continue their higher education and actively participate in the job market and future sectors.

At the end of the ceremony, the Abu Dhabi Centre for Technical and Vocational Education and Training congratulated the graduates and their families, wishing them continued success and achievement in their academic and professional careers, and continuing to excel and make a positive contribution to serve their country and the future of the UAE.
