Dubai, September 1 (WAM) - The Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) announced that more than 130 Chinese companies will participate in the People's Republic of China’s International Pavilion at the 28th edition of the Water, Energy, Technology, and Environment Exhibition (WITEX), which will be held from October 20 to 22, 2026, at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

During WITEX, Chinese companies will showcase their latest innovations and products in the fields of clean and renewable energy, energy storage, enhancing the efficiency of power and water networks, sustainability, smart cities, environmental protection, artificial intelligence (AI), automation, and digital transformation.

His Excellency Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Managing Director and CEO of DEWA, Chairman and Founder of WITEX, said: "The annual large-scale Chinese participation in WITEX is an important source for strengthening the established cooperation relations and thriving partnership between the UAE and the People’s Republic of China, particularly in vital sectors such as investment, industry, technology, clean and renewable energy, and water.
