Abu Dhabi, August 14 (WAM) - The Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship and Customs and Port Security held the "AI Assistant Forum" in Abu Dhabi to achieve the strategic project goals of the UAE government aimed at transforming 50% of operations, tasks, procedures, and services into AI-supported models within two years.

His Excellency Major General Suhail سعيد Al Khaili, Director General of the Authority, affirmed during the forum that this step translates the directives of the wise leadership, emphasizing the Authority's efforts to lead the technical transformation and unify institutional visions to build a more intelligent, efficient, and future-ready business model.

He said that the discussions and outcomes of the forum represent an important step in shaping the next phase of its journey in government work based on AI assistance, building partnerships, exploring opportunities, and turning ambitions into practical initiatives that solidify the Authority's position among the most pioneering government institutions in employing artificial intelligence.

His Excellency Juma Abdullah Al Kaabi, Executive Director of the Digital Transformation Sector in charge of leading the AI Assistant pathways at the Authority, explained that the technological transformation represented by process re-engineering and enabling national competencies actively contributes to increasing productivity and accelerating achievement.

In a related context, His Excellency Colonel Tariq Mohammed Bin Rabieah, acting executive director of the Financial Resources and Administrative Affairs Sector, who leads the operations and institutional support pathway team at the Authority, reviewed the objectives of his track and its implementation stages, as well as mechanisms for measuring impact and identifying opportunities for continuous development.

Col. Dr. Hamad Al-Hindasy, representative of the Capacity Building and Training Track Team at the Authority, discussed proposed strategic partnerships for developing training competencies and standards, while Aliya Obaid Al-Falasi, CEO of Artificial Intelligence and Head of the AI and Data Technologies Track Team at the Authority, highlighted mechanisms to provide a secure, high-efficiency infrastructure and policies adopted to unify controls on the adoption of intelligent assistants.

Saad Al-Zaabi, Deputy Director of Government Services Management and representative of the Government Services Track Team, reviewed the methodology and outputs of the track concerned with customer service, while Captain Hamad Al-Tawil, Head of Quality and Operations Department at Strategy and Future Administration and representative of the Strategic Government Work Track Team, explained government trends and approved paths to enhance the speed and quality of institutional decision-making.
