Strong hints about the battery sizes of the expected iPhone 18 Pro and also iPhone 18 Pro Max appeared in recent days, but now we have official confirmation from the Chinese certification authority 3C database. About two months before the expected launch date for Apple's new series of phones in September, four different battery sizes were confirmed for the iPhone 18 Pro generation according to what was published by leakers.

For the standard iPhone 18 Pro, data revealed that the Chinese version, which will likely be the global version equipped with a SIM card slot, will come with a battery capacity of 4056 mAh compared to 3988 mAh in the previous iPhone 17 Pro model. This represents a slight increase of 1.71%. For the model intended for American markets that operates on eSIM technology only, the battery capacity increased from 4252 mAh to 4288 mAh, which is an equivalent increase of 0.85%.

As for the larger and more powerful model, the iPhone 18 Pro Max with a 6.9-inch screen, Apple will use a large battery with a capacity of 5391 mAh in the Chinese version equipped with a SIM card chip. It is expected that this value will apply to phones aimed at European markets and other global regions. When compared to the previous iPhone 17 Pro Max battery, which had a capacity of 4823 mAh, it represents a strong leap and a respectable increase of 11.78%. In contrast, the American model, which comes without a traditional SIM card slot, will have a battery with a capacity of 5567 mAh compared to last year's model with a capacity of 5088 mAh, an increase of up to 9.41%.

It is well known that Apple does not traditionally list the exact battery capacities officially in its specifications and instead content itself with mentioning the expected operating times in technical data sheets. These sizes and real battery capacities will be confirmed conclusively through teardowns of the phones immediately after their official launch.
