New leaks have revealed additional details about the upcoming iPhone Air 2, which is expected to offer notable improvements while maintaining its slim design.

According to leaker John Prosser, the phone will receive a second rear camera, which aligns with an earlier report by analyst Mark Gurman, who noted that the new generation will include a 48-megapixel ultra-wide lens.

Although the final design of the phone has not been finalized yet, leaks suggest that Apple will not make significant changes to the external shape, except for adding the new camera.

It is expected that the phone will continue to use a titanium alloy structure while maintaining a thickness of 5.6 mm, although it may be equipped with a larger battery and the new Apple A20 Pro processor manufactured at 2 nanometer precision, which is expected to provide higher performance and lower energy consumption.

Leaks also indicate that Apple will use a smaller camera for Face ID, allowing the Dynamic Island to be reduced in size and making room for the new design.

As for colors, it is expected that the phone will be available in black, white, and gold, with the addition of a new lavender color instead of the current blue.

In related news, Prosser suggested that Apple may eventually replace its basic iPhone models with the Air series, making the company's lineup consist of the standard iPhone with an Air-slim design alongside the Pro and foldable Ultra phones.
