The leaker Digital Chat Station revealed new details about the battery of the foldable iPhone Ultra via Weibo, after two new batteries were approved for the device.

According to the leak, both batteries received approval together, which indicates that they are intended for a foldable phone. This category usually relies on two separate batteries due to its design.

The rated capacity of the two batteries is 1,921 mAh and 2,962 mAh, totaling 4,883 mAh, meaning that the typical advertised capacity could reach up to 5,000 mAh/hour.

This capacity aligns with rumors about the battery of the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra. The direct competitor to Apple's upcoming phone is expected to come with a 4,800 mAh battery.

Apple is expected to unveil the iPhone Ultra in September, coinciding with the launch of the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max. The latest reports indicate that the phone will be released on time without any delays.
