This leak reveals the Xiaomi Redmi Watch 6 Lite and Watch 6 Active watches with affordable prices appeared on Tech News Without Borders.

New leaks revealed details about the Redmi Watch 6 Lite and Redmi Watch 6 Active, which are the most affordable versions of the Redmi Watch 6 series, after many information had been leaked about them in July.

The GSMArena website spotted both watches on the Hungarian price comparison site Arukereso, while Amazon has already started selling the two watches within the United States, revealing their design and prices along with some of their most prominent specifications.

According to Amazon's listings, the Redmi Watch 6 Lite costs around $75.99, while the Redmi Watch 6 Active comes at a price of $66.49.

The Redmi Watch 6 Lite features an OLED display with a size of 1.96 inches and a resolution of 502 x 410 pixels, along with a thickness of 9.9 mm and water resistance up to 5ATM pressure. The watch also includes a heart rate sensor and SpO2 blood oxygen level sensor, as well as an integrated speaker and microphones.

The Lite version also features an integrated GPS system, allowing for distance tracking during running and cycling without the need to carry a smartphone. In contrast, the Redmi Watch 6 Active lacks a GPS system, while the precise nine-axis motion sensor technology is limited to the Lite model.

Neither of the two watches supports NFC technology, meaning they cannot be used for some electronic payment functions that require this technology.

The Redmi Watch 6 Active comes with a slightly smaller AMOLED screen measuring 1.85 inches and with a resolution of 450 x 390 pixels. However, the watch provides sensors to measure heart rate and blood oxygen level SpO2, along with support for more than 140 sports modes.

Xiaomi has not yet specified an official date for the unveiling of the Redmi Watch 6 Lite and Redmi Watch 6 Active, so it is expected that further details about the two watches will emerge before the official announcement.
