A new leak has revealed signs within the source code of iOS 27 indicating a new wearable device from Apple, bearing model number B790, with support for Visual Intelligence feature.

User @samhenrigold found this sign within the code, but it does not reveal much about the nature of the device except to confirm its compatibility with Visual Intelligence features.

This feature allows users to ask Siri questions about objects appearing in front of the phone’s camera by using the Camera app on iPhones running iOS 27. It is currently available on iPhone 15 Pro and later models.

Although there is no information confirming the device's identity, the presence of support for a feature that relies on recognizing landmarks, texts, objects, and logos suggests it will include an integrated camera.

This leak has sparked speculation that the device could be Apple’s first smart glasses running mixed reality technologies or another wearable device equipped with a camera.

On the other hand, the hypothesis of developing AirPods equipped with cameras seems less likely, especially after recent reports indicating that Apple has suspended work on its project for AirPods Ultra equipped with cameras.
