Samsung Unveils Design of Galaxy Buds On: The First Clip-On Earbuds Set to Launch Soon appeared on Tech Walaa.

Samsung is preparing to launch a new set of wireless clip-on earbuds, after several leaks in the past period revealed initial details about their design and name. Previous reports had indicated that the earbuds would be called Galaxy Buds Able, before the latest leaks revealed the final name: Galaxy Buds On.

The first information about the earbuds appeared last July through codes in the Galaxy Wearable app, followed by clearer images of the design. Now, new photos published by Android Headlines reveal the alleged final shape of the earbuds, along with confirming their name as Galaxy Buds On.

The photos show the earbuds in black color, while Samsung is expected to offer additional color options when they are officially launched. The design relies on the clip-on style that attaches the earbud around the ear instead of inserting it into the ear canal, a design that has become more popular among modern open-earbuds.

The Galaxy Buds On resembles in shape several competing earbuds with similar designs such as EarFun Clip 2, Baseus Inspire XC1 and Anker Soundcore AeroClip. It is expected that Samsung will use an open air conduction technology to transmit sound instead of bone conduction technology.

This technology works through small speakers directed towards the ear canal, allowing the user to hear sound while remaining aware of surrounding noises. Conversely, adopting this open design means that active noise cancellation is not provided, given the nature of the headphones which leave the ear open.

Additionally, leaks indicate that Galaxy Buds On will support certain gestures using head movement, so specific functions can be executed without needing to touch the phone or headphones. Additional details on the nature of these gestures or the functions they will support are not yet available.

However, Samsung has not officially unveiled the Galaxy Buds On yet, and its release date remains unknown. Therefore, current information is based on leaks until the company announces the headphones and their specifications officially.
