Football fans are in for a special surprise as the luxury smartphone brand Caviar has unveiled a new collection called Legends of customized smartphones representing football stars Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. This launch coincides with the conclusion of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which is also expected to be the last appearance of both players on the global stage. The release inspired by Messi is based on the yet-to-be-released Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra smartphone, while the Ronaldo edition uses the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max.

Coinciding with the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event on July 22, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra edition features Messi in hand-painted cloisonné enamel in Argentina’s white and sky blue colors, along with 24 karat gold lines and paint across the device. Similarly, the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max editions feature a personalized image of Cristiano in red and green cloisonné enamel representing the Portuguese national team, also with 24 karat gold lines and paint.

Each model is limited to just 19 units worldwide, reflecting its status as a collectible rather than a conventional phone. The price of the Messi-inspired Fold 8 Ultra starts at $18,382, while the Ronaldo-themed iPhone 17 Pro begins at $15,974. All phones come with a one-year warranty. Buyers can also request custom engravings, logos, design modifications, or customized packaging. Shipping is estimated to take up to one week.
