Ajman, August 13 (WAM) - The Finance Department in Ajman concluded the "Ajman Money Plus" program, which was held as part of the "Summer of Happiness 2026" events. This interactive training experience, spanning three days, combined financial awareness and artificial intelligence skills to empower students to understand money and make more informed decisions. It aimed to transform financial knowledge into practical applications for daily life.

The program, organized at Ajman Saray Hotel, focused on core financial concepts such as income and expenses, distinguishing between needs and wants, setting financial goals, budgeting, and building saving habits. It also developed skills in using AI as an assistant for financial planning, analysis, writing effective instructions, and converting data into indicators, charts, and financial dashboards.

The program covered the application and presentation process by presenting team projects to a review committee, culminating in results and recognition.

Participants concluded their journey with the "Ajman Money Plus" challenge by developing a financial dashboard that included performance indicators, graphs, clear financial goals, data-driven conclusions, and an explanation of how AI was used for creation, analysis, and improvement.

H.E. Marwan Ahmed Al Ali, Director General of the Finance Department in Ajman, said that financial literacy has become one of the essential skills needed by young people to make more informed and responsible decisions. The employment of artificial intelligence opens new horizons for financial planning and data analysis. Through “Ajman Money Plus”, the department aims to enable students to acquire practical knowledge and skills that help them manage their resources effectively, enhancing their readiness to participate in an economy based on knowledge and innovation, consistent with the emirate’s aspirations and the vision of Ajman 2030.

For her part, Zainab Ali Al Blooshi, host of Ajman Money Plus, said that the program was designed to make students partners in the experience rather than mere recipients of information. It starts by understanding financial behavior and distinguishing between needs and desires, then moves on to building a goal, budget, and savings plan. After that, artificial intelligence is employed to analyze data and convert it into clear indicators and dashboards so that participants can think before they spend, read their numbers, ask the right questions of AI tools, and make more informed and responsible financial decisions.
