Lenovo quietly updated its ThinkCentre Neo 50q Tiny PC in the American market with Intel Lunar Lake processors, after it was previously available with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X1-26-100 processor. The 1-liter tiny computer now offers an alternative from Intel with the same ultra-compact structure and starts at $1,179 in the US market. It is available in two configurations, both of which come with 16GB of integrated LPDDR5X-8533 RAM.

The base configuration comes with an Intel Core Ultra 5 226V processor, a powerful eight-core processor with speeds ranging from 3.5 GHz to 4.5 GHz and a 40 TOPS NPU for local AI tasks. It also includes an integrated Intel Arc 130V graphics card. Although it is considered a low-end option, it outperforms the Snapdragon version due to its higher clock speeds.

Users who need better performance can switch to a configuration with the Core Ultra 7 256V processor, which maintains the same eight-core design but offers higher clock speeds, a faster NPU neural processing unit, and more powerful Arc 140V graphics. It also doubles the integrated SSD storage from 512GB to 1TB.

Except for the processor, the rest of the specifications remain unchanged. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, a 10Gbps USB-C port, two 10Gbps USB-A ports, and a 3.5 mm audio jack at the front. The rear features four additional USB-A ports, an HDMI 2.1 port, a DisplayPort 1.4 port, and a Gigabit Ethernet port. The mini PC’s dimensions are 1.44 x 7.05 x 7.2 inches or 36.5 x 179 x 182.9 mm, and it weighs 5.27 lbs.

In terms of pricing, buyers in the US can purchase the ThinkCentre Neo 50q Gen 6 Intel directly from Lenovo for $1,179 for the Core Ultra 5 226V model and $1,619 for a configuration with the Core Ultra 7 256V processor.
