Redmi revealed new color options for the Redmi Note 17 and Redmi Note 17 Pro just hours before the official announcement of the series in China.

The company announced a bright green color option for the Redmi Note 17, joining the previously showcased purple color.

Redmi also confirmed that the phone will feature an OLED display with a 7-inch screen and a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a large battery with a capacity of 8,000 mAh supporting wired charging at 45 watts, and a 50-megapixel main camera.

On the other hand, the company showcased the Redmi Note 17 Pro in a new purple color called Nebula Purple, and it will be available in four colors, including black and white as well.

Redmi confirmed that the Pro version will include a battery with a capacity of 9,000 mAh, a flat screen with a 1.5K resolution protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2 glass, and an maximum brightness of up to 3,500 nits.

Redmi is scheduled to reveal all the specifications of the series, along with prices and availability in the Chinese market, later today.
