Apple officially raises the prices of iPhone 17, iPhone Air, and iPhone 16. These new prices are revealed by Tech Without Borders.

Apple quietly raised the prices of several current iPhone models shortly after announcing its iPhone 18 Pro series and its foldable phone, iPhone Duo. The increase included both the iPhone 17 and iPhone 17e, as well as the iPhone Air and iPhone 16.

The mentioned models are now $100 more expensive than their original launch prices. The price of the iPhone 17 starts at $899 in the United States.

The iPhone 17e starts at $699, while the iPhone Air's price rises to $1,099. Meanwhile, the price of the iPhone 16 starts at $799 for the basic version with a storage capacity of 128GB in the American market.

Apple is applying this price increase across all markets where these iPhone models are currently available.

Typically, Apple reduces the prices of previous iPhone generations after launching new models. However, the current increase is a rare case and is linked to the market's shortage of memory chip supplies. Recently, Apple has raised the prices of several other products, including Mac computers, iPads, and HomePods.
