Apple continues to rely on “Shot on iPhone” campaigns to demonstrate the capabilities of its camera phones. This time, it has enlisted the help of professional and award-winning photographers to test the iPhone Duo foldable camera. The idea is primarily based on providing a professional in his field with the right tool, then letting the results speak for themselves.

Apple chose Jake Michaels and Jason Nocito to photograph a series of images using the iPhone Duo. Both have extensive experience in photography and have worked with several celebrities, including Woody Harrelson, Keith Richards, Future, A$AP Rocky, Ariana Grande, George Clooney, and others.

The two photographers managed to produce impressive results using the phone’s cameras, even though the iPhone Duo is not primarily a camera-focused phone.

The phone features a 48MP main camera with a 1/1.56-inch sensor, a 26mm focal length lens and an f/1.6 aperture, along with a 48MP ultra-wide camera with a 1/2.55-inch sensor, a 13mm focal length lens, and an f/2.2 aperture. Both cameras support multi-frame image processing technology and HDR.

However, the image quality does not depend solely on camera specifications. The photographer himself plays a key role in choosing the right composition, lighting, angles and method of taking the picture. Apple’s campaign clearly highlights this point, showing how a professional photographer can achieve powerful results even with a phone that is not primarily focused on photography.

iPhone Duo is officially scheduled to go on sale on October 16, with shipments starting to reach users from October 23.
