Abu Dhabi, July 15 (WAM) - Dr. Adel Al-Sharji, Chief Operating Officer of Pressain, confirmed that the company aims to increase its revenue contribution from international operations to around 60% next year, compared to between 35 and 40% currently, as it continues to expand in global markets and strengthen its presence in the artificial intelligence solutions sector.

Al-Sharji said in a statement to the Emirates News Agency (WAM) on the sidelines of an event organized by the Abu Dhabi Securities Market on board the Union Train that the company continues to implement its expansion plans within the UAE and abroad, noting that it currently operates in 17 countries around the world, with plans to continue expanding into new markets.

Al-Sharji explained that Pressain has concluded new agreements in a number of African countries, including Togo and Tanzania, and is continuing to expand its projects in Kazakhstan after implementing the smart city project in the capital Astana, with plans to move to other cities within the country.

He noted that the company is currently focusing on developing artificial intelligence agent solutions, where it has developed a platform that allows individuals and institutions to easily create specialized digital assistants that can be trained on the required skills and expertise to perform various tasks according to user needs.

He added that the platform enables institutions to build digital assistants to support various functions, including administrative, technical, and specialized work, explaining that these solutions aim to automate repetitive tasks and improve performance efficiency.

He confirmed that the company provides a platform for customers, while each customer develops their digital agents according to the nature of their business and requirements, which gives institutions flexibility in designing and continuously developing their AI solutions.

Al-Sharji noted that demand for AI agent solutions is growing rapidly, whether from government entities or private sector companies or even on an individual level, given the increasing expansion in the use of these technologies to support businesses and boost productivity, in line with the United Arab Emirates' target of employing AI assistants in 50% of government work within two years.

It is worth noting that the Abu Dhabi Securities Market celebrated the start of trading new derivative contracts on board "Union Trains" during a journey between the emirates of Abu Dhabi and Fujairah, in the first ever bell-ringing ceremony for trading on board a passenger train.
