Samsung will unveil a new member of the Galaxy S26 family next Thursday, August 27, during its August 2026 Galaxy Event, which will be broadcast live on Samsung’s website and YouTube channel.

Although Samsung has not explicitly revealed the device's name, it is expected to be the Galaxy S26 FE, especially since the company has not yet provided any official details about it.

According to leaks, the phone received a rating of A for energy consumption efficiency and another A rating for drop resistance, while it received a C rating for repairability, according to a leaked EPREL label.

Information also suggests that the phone's battery is designed to withstand 1,200 charging cycles and can provide up to 50 hours of usage on a single charge, compared to 2,000 cycles and 42 hours and 37 minutes for the Galaxy S25 FE. The phone will also receive an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.

However, this information remains unofficial for now. It is expected that the transition to the Exynos 2500 chip will be the most significant upgrade in the new generation, which was almost confirmed by data from Google Play Console.
