The Galaxy Tab S12 series consists of two devices: Galaxy Tab S12+ and Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra. The Google Play Console list displays five models of the Galaxy Tab S12+, along with three models of the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra.

The Wi-Fi only version of the Galaxy Tab S12+ carries the codename “gts12pwifi” and model number SM-X840, while the Wi-Fi only version of the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra bears the codename “gts12uwifi” and model number SM-X940.

These new appearances indicate that Samsung is continuing to prepare its upcoming tablets before their official unveiling, especially after information about them started appearing in multiple databases and certifications.

Samsung confirmed last month that it would unveil the Galaxy Tab S12 series during the second half of 2026, but did not specify an exact launch date.

Given that Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Tab S11 series, which included the Galaxy Tab S11 and Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra, last September, it is expected that the company will unveil the Galaxy Tab S12 series around the same time this year.
