Lenovo has now launched a new compact desktop globally, specifically the company has started selling the ThinkCentre Neo 50q Gen 6 in more markets after its launch a few weeks ago in America. To clarify, the desktop replaces Lenovo’s Gen 5 model which was available with a variety of Raptor Lake processors for $799.

The ThinkCentre Neo 50q Gen 6 takes advantage of Intel's Lunar Lake platform, offering a choice between the Core Ultra 5 226V and Core Ultra 7 256V processors. As a result, the desktop also has integrated Arc 130V and Arc 140V iGPUs at its disposal which remain powerful enough to run some old triple-A games in 1080p resolution with high settings. It’s worth noting that there is a 15% gap between the two in our gaming performance tests.

The ThinkCentre Neo 50q Gen 6 device can be configured with 256 GB, 512 GB or 1 TB of M.2 2280 PCIe Gen 4 storage and Wi-Fi 6 or Wi-Fi 7 connectivity as well as 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet. Furthermore, Lenovo sells optional DisplayPort and VGA ports. All these solid components are housed in a structure measuring 179x 182.9 x 34.5 mm and weighing only 1.1 kg.

Prices start at 1,339 AUD and 1,329 CAD, and range from €950 to €1,020, HKD 6,447 and GBP 845.50 in Australia, Canada, the Eurozone, Hong Kong, and the UK respectively. Most markets also have customization options available. However, unlike America, Lenovo unfortunately limits the ThinkCentre Neo 50q Gen 6 Tiny to only 16 GB of RAM by offering only the Core Ultra 5 226V and Core Ultra 7 256V processors.
