It has been a few months since Lenovo released the Legion 5 15IAX11 globally to replace the older model, the currently available Legion 5 15IRX10, priced at $1730. This dedicated gaming laptop with a 15.3-inch screen combines new Arrow Lake HX processors and up to an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 12GB mobile GPU.

Now, the AMD-based Legion 5 15AGP11 model has joined the series with a graphics update. To clarify, the Legion 5 15AGP11 was first unveiled in January at CES 2026 with AMD Gorgon Point processors like Ryzen AI 9 465. This device, launched shortly after, offers better processor performance compared to the AMD Hawk Point-based Legion 5 15AHP11 model, which is exclusively available with the Ryzen 7 250 processor.

In contrast, both laptops were available with up to a GeForce RTX 5070 8GB graphics card. But Lenovo’s new update adds the GeForce RTX 5070 12GB graphics card to the Legion 5 15AGP11 model, while the 8GB version is now available in the Legion 5 15AHP11 model. The Legion 5 15AGP11 retains an 80 Wh battery and a 165 Hz OLED display, as well as two M.2 2280 slots and DDR5 SODIMM slots inside a 1.87 kg chassis.

The Lenovo product specifications website PSREF indicates that the Legion 5 15AGP11 will be available globally with the GeForce RTX 5070 12GB graphics card.
