Abu Dhabi, August 13 (WAM) - AIREV, the UAE company that developed the OnDemand platform for independent artificial intelligence, has signed an agreement with Qualcomm.

Under the agreement, the OnDemand platform, which specializes in artificial intelligence agents, will be integrated into Qualcomm's supply chains and its specialized portfolio Dragonwing, which includes the Dragonwing AI On-Prem Appliance products to run AI devices on site. This enables government institutions and companies to activate sovereign AI wherever their data is located, while laying the foundations for its technological integration in various fields in the future.

His Excellency Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of Foreign Trade and Chairman of the Board of Directors of AIREV, said that the UAE, under the vision and guidance of our wise leadership, does not just attract the best global technologies, but also develops and exports them to the world. He explained that the agreement is the latest evidence of the continuous development in the country's artificial intelligence journey.

Under this agreement, AIREV combines technical reliance at the electronic chip level, preloading on devices, and registration in the American market within an integrated commercial strategy that reinforces itself.

The OnDemand platform system is used to develop, deploy, and manage independent AI agents. It is a low-code operating system designed to work without relying on cloud computing, whether in private data centers or on servers belonging to other companies, or directly on users' devices.

The platform serves more than four million users worldwide and provides over 300 specialized agents in more than 50 languages.

In the second quarter of 2026, “AIREV” products successfully processed a total of 6.8 trillion tokens, an increase of nearly sixfold compared to the same period last year, making it one of the highest productivity rates recorded by an AI platform based in the UAE.

Qualcomm’s global technologies power devices and infrastructure across various sectors, including enterprises, government, critical infrastructure, as well as industrial and consumer sectors.

The collaboration between the two parties to integrate “AIREV” software with Qualcomm Dragonwing products, including “Dragonwing AI On-Prem Appliance,” for running AI-powered devices on-site, provides an opportunity for businesses and governments to access AI agents capable of continuing operations regardless of where data is stored. This enables the deployment of secure and sovereign AI applications while expanding the adoption of AI agents in diverse environments powered by Qualcomm technology.
