Abu Dhabi, July 16 (WAM) - The Ministry of Interior, represented by the General Department of Relations and Protocols, in cooperation with the General Directorate of Artificial Intelligence and PressAI, a company specializing in artificial intelligence applications for smart systems - one of G42 companies, organized the "Agentic AI 2026" meeting on "The Development of Artificial Intelligence in the Police Field", at the Ministry's headquarters, with the participation of a select group of experts and specialists in technology and smart security systems.

The organization of this meeting comes within the framework of the efforts of the Ministry of Interior to keep pace with the rapid developments in artificial intelligence technologies, explore the opportunities provided by these technologies in reinventing the police system, improve performance efficiency, and enhance the speed and accuracy of security decision-making.

His Excellency Major General Khalifa Harib Al Khaili, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Interior, affirmed in his speech during the launch of the meeting that this event represents an important step within the efforts of the Ministry of Interior to foresee the future of security work and develop the police system through the use of artificial intelligence technologies.

He pointed out that artificial intelligence is one of the most important enablers of the future, as it provides advanced solutions that contribute to raising government performance efficiency and enhancing service quality, explaining that the Ministry of Interior continues to integrate smart technologies into various fields of police work to support decision-making, accelerate response times, and develop security operations according to the highest standards of readiness and effectiveness.

He explained that the forum provides a platform for sharing experiences and showcasing the latest smart solutions and applications that support the development of the security system and enhance community safety. He expressed his gratitude to all participants, speakers, and organizers, emphasizing the importance of continuing the journey of development and innovation to strengthen the leadership position of the United Arab Emirates in employing modern technologies.

The forum, which was held over two days, showcased a range of smart solutions and applications that reflect the future of security work. It highlighted the role of artificial intelligence in supporting various police operations through integration between data, advanced analytics, and modern digital systems.

On the first day, several specialized presentations were made. These included an AI assistant system that demonstrates how smart technologies can support decision-makers and expedite police procedures. There was also a presentation on the digital forensic system, which showcases the latest methods for collecting and analyzing digital evidence to enhance investigation efficiency.

The presentations also covered the cybercrime system and its advanced solutions in monitoring and analyzing cybercrimes, as well as supporting investigative procedures. Additionally, there was an overview of the case management system enhanced with AI investigators, which illustrates how artificial intelligence can assist investigators, expedite case completion, and improve output quality.

On the second day, the forum continued to showcase smart solutions by presenting a system for controlling and managing a safe and sustainable city. This system embodies the concept of smart city management through the integration of security systems and artificial intelligence (AI), along with a crisis and emergency management system that focuses on decision support and enhancing response speed to incidents.

The forum also showcased a human resources, recruitment, and competencies management system and its role in developing human capital within police institutions. The presentations concluded with the introduction of a multifunctional AI assistant system as an integrated model for employing AI in supporting various security tasks and operations.
