This leak reveals the increased battery capacity of Samsung Galaxy S27 Pro and Galaxy S27 Ultra has appeared on TechRadar.

A new leak revealed the battery capacities of the Samsung Galaxy S27 Pro and Galaxy S27 Ultra, in a move that could give Samsung greater ability to compete with leading Chinese phones that now rely on large batteries exceeding 7,000 mAh.

This comes after the Galaxy S26 was content with a battery capacity of 4,300 mAh, while the Galaxy S26 Ultra received a battery with a capacity of 5,000 mAh, which some considered less than its competitors in the same category.

According to GalaxyClub website, the final versions of both phones will rely on high-energy density silicon and carbon batteries, allowing for increased capacity without needing to increase battery size.

The report indicated that the Galaxy S27 Pro would carry a battery with an actual capacity of 5,028 mAh, while Samsung is expected to market it with a nominal capacity of up to about 5,200 mAh.

As for the Galaxy S27 Ultra, it will come with a battery with an actual capacity of 5,534 mAh, and will be released commercially with a nominal capacity ranging from 5,700 to 5,800 mAh.

In contrast, the battery capacities of the Galaxy S27 and Galaxy S27+ have not yet been revealed, as their details are still unknown.

The Galaxy S27 Pro and Galaxy S27 Ultra are also expected to receive a number of other improvements, most notably the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 processor, an improved front camera with a 16-megapixel sensor that may adopt a square shape, as well as a new telephoto camera with a 50-megapixel sensor.

Leaks also indicate that all Galaxy S27 series phones will support the Privacy Display feature, which first appeared on the Galaxy S26 Ultra, and that the series will be officially unveiled at the beginning of 2027.
