New leaks indicate that vivo is preparing to unveil the vivo V80 series in mid-August, following months after the launch of the vivo V70 series.

According to one leaker on X platform, the vivo V80 will feature a 6.59-inch flat screen with 1.5K resolution and a refresh rate of 144 Hz.

The phone is expected to retain the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor used in the previous generation, but it will have a larger battery with a capacity of 7200 mAh, along with support for fast charging at 90 watts.

In terms of photography, leaks suggest that the phone will include a 50-megapixel main camera, along with a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, which is the same system found in the vivo V70. It will also come with a 50-megapixel front camera.

Expected specifications also include a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, a frame made from aluminum alloy, and IP69 water and dust resistance.
