According to the report, the growing demand for semiconductors, especially with the significant surge in artificial intelligence technologies, has driven many companies to seek alternatives to TSMC factories for manufacturing their chips.

Before the boom of the AI market, Samsung and Intel were facing challenges in the chip manufacturing sector, but recent developments have contributed to improving their position. Reports indicate that Apple is reconsidering its collaboration with Intel to supply certain chips, and it is also said to be holding talks with Samsung.

Meanwhile, Anthropic has assured its current partners that its data centers will continue relying on Amazon Titanium chips, Google's Tensor Processing Units (TPUs), and Nvidia’s graphics processing units during the upcoming period.

Despite this, the company is seeking to develop its own custom hardware to meet its growing needs in computing and support its future growth plans. It should be noted that OpenAI is working on a similar project; it is holding talks with Broadcom to develop custom AI chips.
