Dubai, July 15 (WAM) - The General Command of Dubai Police, represented by the General Administration for Artificial Intelligence, in cooperation with Microsoft, organized a specialized workshop entitled "Technical Solutions: From Challenge to Implementation". The aim was to develop an action plan to transform operational challenges into feasible technical solutions and accelerate the adoption of artificial intelligence applications to support police work and enhance security service efficiency.

The workshop was attended by His Excellency Major General Dr. Khaled Nasser Alرزوقi, Director of the General Administration for Artificial Intelligence at Dubai Police, Ahmed Faraj, Regional Director for Security and Justice in Europe, Middle East and Africa at Microsoft, as well as a number of officers, relevant parties, and company experts.

The workshop focused on identifying operational priorities and challenges, reviewing technical solutions supporting artificial intelligence applications, establishing key performance indicators and implementation plans to contribute to the development of innovative solutions, and raising levels of institutional efficiency and readiness.

The workshop included interactive working sessions where participants discussed a number of real-world challenges, analyzed them, and formulated technical solutions based on artificial intelligence applications. Recommendations and implementation mechanisms were also prepared to support the digital transformation journey and promote an innovation culture in the workplace.

The workshop is part of Dubai Police's approach to strengthen cooperation with global companies specializing in modern technologies and leverage advanced expertise and practices in the field of artificial intelligence, in line with the government's digital transformation goals and supporting the development of more efficient proactive security services.

The workshop concluded by establishing mechanisms to follow up on the implementation of its outputs, including preparing a detailed report highlighting the most important results and recommendations, measuring participants' opinions and gathering their suggestions, in preparation for studying the transformation of the proposed ideas and solutions into executive projects that support institutional development and the use of artificial intelligence to serve security and society.
