Huawei launched the MatePad Pro Max tablet in China in June 2026, and now the company is preparing to introduce another tablet in the MatePad Pro series. The company confirmed on its official account on Weibo that a new MatePad Pro will be launched in China. The tablet appears with two color options: blue and pink.

The 2026 version of the MatePad Pro features a circular rear camera similar to the Huawei MatePad Pro Max. The tablet's thickness is 4.7mm, and it weighs 439g. Moreover, the official teaser confirms support for the stylus pen and keyboard accessories.

An earlier leak suggests that the new MatePad Pro may feature an OLED screen with a size of approximately 12 inches. It is expected to use a chip from the Kirin T93 series. The leaks also indicate that the tablet will come with a 66W charger and support Beidou satellite messaging.

Other details about the tablet are still scarce. Separately, Huawei also confirmed that it will launch a new MateBook Fold Ultimate Design in China.
