This update supports a style of programming based on guidance and artificial intelligence known as "Vibe Coding," which makes it easier for both beginners and professionals to implement complex software and design projects without having to write a single line of code.

Availability of the feature for all users and its integration with the work environment

The company explained that Canva Code 2.0 is now available to all user categories, including free accounts, professionals, businesses, large enterprises, and education. The new tool can be run directly from within existing design projects such as presentations, interactive whiteboards, and documents, providing great flexibility in integrating programming into the usual graphical work environment.

Importing HTML files and flexible AI editing

The new update comes with more than 50 interactive models ready for programming and customization, allowing the use of Canva's extensive library of images and graphics or uploading user-specific media. The most prominent addition in this version is the "HTML Import" feature, which allows developers to bring their pre-built projects created through other coding assistants and convert them into editable designs that can be directly edited within Canva. The editing interface also enables users to select any specific graphic or text element, and direct AI to modify or enhance that particular part in an intelligent and smooth conversational manner.

Direct collaborative work, easy publishing, and mobile compatibility

In addition to its coding capabilities, the Canva Code 2.0 update focuses on enhancing editorial collaboration; teams can program, review, and add annotations to interactive designs together in real-time. Once the website or application is developed, the system automatically adjusts dimensions to fit different screen sizes (Responsive Design) with the ability to preview the final appearance on mobile devices before publishing.
