Samsung has officially launched its Galaxy XR glasses in the United Kingdom, after they were previously available in both South Korea and the US, through its online store following pre-orders that opened in mid-June.

The official price of the glasses is £1,699, while buyers will receive a free Explorer Pack for a limited time, which Samsung says is worth up to £665.

The pack includes a 12-month subscription to Google AI Pro, YouTube Premium, Google Play Pass and Calm Premium services, along with Adobe’s Project Pulsar, as well as NFL PRO ERA games and the interactive Asteroid experience.

The Galaxy XR offers a battery life of up to 2.5 hours and relies on the Snapdragon XR2+ Gen 2 processor, and comes with 4K Micro-OLED screens.

Samsung also launched the Galaxy XR bag and control units for the glasses at £249 each, with a 30% discount until September 30th.

The company is also offering a 10% discount on the glasses when purchased with any Galaxy phone series until August 4, as well as a similar discount on Galaxy Watch watches or Galaxy Buds headphones when purchased with the glasses until September 30.
