Abu Dhabi, May 3 (WAM) - His Excellency Hassan Jassim Al Nuais, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology, has confirmed that "Make in UAE 2026", which will be hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology in Abu Dhabi from May 4 to 7 under the slogan "Advanced Industries: We Are Stronger Together", is a national platform for transforming industrial opportunities into investments, projects, and tangible outcomes, supporting supply chain resilience and promoting sustainable industrial growth in the UAE.

In a statement to WAM, he said that the platform's convening comes at an important time when global economies are reshaping their supply chains while the UAE continues to establish an integrated industrial model based on competitiveness, flexibility, and readiness for the future through a system that brings together investors, manufacturers, technology providers, financiers, and key buyers in one supportive environment for growth.

He added that "Make in UAE" is not limited to showcasing opportunities but also serves as an operational platform connecting investment, manufacturing, financing, and technology. It supports direct local investment and transforms opportunities into actual industrial agreements, contracts, and projects, enhancing domestic production, boosting the competitiveness of the national industry, and supporting expansion in regional and global markets.

He indicated that the opportunities available for investors and industrial and technological companies are enhanced under the umbrella of the National Strategy for Advanced Industry and Technology, the "Make in UAE" initiative, and the National Content Program, which has redirected more than 473 billion dirhams to the UAE economy. He also mentioned procurement opportunities to localize 5,000 vital and priority products, and enable manufacturers in the country to reach markets with approximately 3 billion consumers through 36 comprehensive economic partnership agreements.

He said that an industrial investor in the United Arab Emirates enters a clear and integrated system that includes demand, competitive financing, advanced infrastructure, flexible legislation, and access to local and global markets. This enhances investors' confidence, supports the growth of national industries, and establishes a more flexible, sustainable, scalable, and prosperous industrial environment.
