System76 has unveiled a new version of its Adder Pro gaming laptop, which comes equipped with the latest Intel Panther Lake processors, along with Nvidia graphics cards and a high-refresh-rate OLED screen.

The laptop is powered by the Intel Core Ultra 7 356H processor, featuring 16 cores distributed among four performance cores, eight efficiency cores, and four low-power cores. It boasts performance that reportedly surpasses the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 in certain scenarios.

The device supports DDR5-5600 memory with up to 96GB capacity, offering a choice between the GeForce RTX 5060 Laptop and RTX 5070 Laptop graphics cards. Additionally, it features two M.2 ports for storage installation.

The laptop boasts a 15.3-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels and a refresh rate of 165Hz. Its glossy surface enhances color vibrancy but may cause noticeable reflections in well-lit areas. The display also features the productivity-friendly 16:10 aspect ratio.

In terms of connectivity, the device includes two USB Type-C ports, two USB Type-A ports, an HDMI port, and a 1 Gigabit Ethernet port.

System76 has confirmed that the laptop will be available for purchase in mid-month without disclosing its price. However, it is expected to come at a premium due to its robust specifications and the high cost of memory and storage components.
