ASUS announced a range of peripherals and new gaming monitors in China to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the ROG brand. These devices include a PC controller with an 8K refresh rate, and the new Godlike 27 Plus gaming monitor. This is a triple-stream monitor that offers three levels of refresh rates based on display resolution.

The new monitor features a Fast IPS panel with 4K resolution and an original refresh rate of 240Hz. Thanks to the triple-stream mode, users can switch to a refresh rate of 400Hz at QHD resolution and 2560×1440 dimensions, or move to a refresh rate of 488Hz at FHD resolution and 1920×1080 dimensions. This system allows the monitor to maintain clearer image quality in its fastest streaming mode compared to recently announced Philips models that reach up to 540Hz but only at low HD resolution of 1280×720.

The remaining technical specifications are currently under wraps, but the company indicates that the screen will offer sharp motion clarity at all three levels thanks to its smart pixel-enhancement technology. The screen also includes several AI-powered gaming features such as the Dynamic Crosshairs feature and Dynamic Shadow Enhancement technology. In terms of connectivity options, the screen has DisplayPort 1.4 ports, an HDMI 2.1 port, and a USB-C port.

ASUS has not yet revealed the official price details or specific launch date for the Godlike 27 Plus monitor in Chinese markets or other global markets, but it is expected to announce more technical details soon.
