Fujairah, August 9 (WAM) - The activities of the " Fujairah Youth Days 2026" will begin tomorrow and continue until August 13, coinciding with World Youth Day under the slogan "From family to smart future".

Faisal Al Yamahi, Chairman of the Fujairah Youth Council, confirmed today during a press conference held at the headquarters of the Fujairah Government Excellence Program that the Fujairah Youth Days is a youth event and an integrated platform that brings together young people from Fujairah with different interests and specializations under one roof filled with dialogue, knowledge, and experience, which contributes to developing their capabilities and enhancing their role as key partners in shaping the future.

He noted that the participation of more than 15 institutional youth councils in the emirate of Fujairah reflects the size of the youth movement in the emirate and the ability of these councils to move from the stage of establishment to the stage of action and making an impact.

Al Yamahi explained that the Fujairah Youth Days, with its slogan "From family to smart future", aims to enhance the role of the family in empowering youth, developing their capabilities and skills, preparing them to keep up with the requirements of the future, and taking advantage of technology and artificial intelligence opportunities to build a conscious, creative generation capable of shaping the future.

For her part, Sara Al-Kandari, Secretary General of the Fujairah Youth Council and Director of the Fujairah Youth Days, reviewed the agenda of events taking place in a number of locations in the emirate. These include a diverse range of workshops, sessions, initiatives, challenges, competitions, hackathons, and specialized programs covering several future and vital areas, including artificial intelligence, innovation, future skills, entrepreneurship, employment, arts, sports, cybersecurity, and national identity.

The program features the participation of a number of councils and entities through qualitative events, such as the Fujairah Youth Future Skills Hackathon, the Employment Day initiative, the launch of the Fujairah Councils Passport, specialized AI workshops, paddle competitions, along with a series of youth sessions and programs aimed at developing skills, enhancing communication, and exchanging experiences among young people.

The "Fujairah Youth Days 2026" is supported by six strategic partners. It also enjoys the support and participation of 15 partners from entities and institutions in the emirate, reflecting the integration of efforts between various entities and institutions in Fujairah to support and empower young people, providing a comprehensive experience that combines knowledge, skills, innovation, and community engagement, contributing to preparing a generation capable of keeping pace with future requirements and actively participating in shaping it.
