New leaks from the renowned leaker Digital Chat Station have revealed preliminary details about Oppo’s upcoming foldable smartphone, expected to be named Oppo Find N7. This comes after the launch of the Oppo Find N6 as a leading foldable phone in March this year, currently on display for $1536.78. According to the leaks, Oppo is currently testing two design options for the new phone: the first relies on a large circular rear camera module similar to the Oppo Find N6, while the second option features a capsule-like camera.

The Oppo Find N7 is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 processor with model number SM8950. To clarify, Qualcomm is anticipated to launch two new processors later this year: the standard version, Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6, and the professional version, Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro. Both rely on advanced manufacturing technology with a 2nm process. The standard version includes an Adreno 845 graphics processor with support for LPDDR5X RAM, while the Pro version will feature a faster Adreno 850 graphics processor and the latest LPDDR6 RAM.

The leaker also indicated that the next generation of Oppo's foldable phones may include a large battery with a capacity of 6000mAh. The company’s initial plans in the development stages aim for a capacity of around 6500mAh. Finally, leaks suggest that the Oppo Find N7 is expected to be officially launched in markets during the first quarter of 2027.
