GMKtec announced the launch of a new compact desktop computer in Chinese markets called G5S. The most prominent feature of this device is its extremely small structure, which comes in the size of a palm. The company indicated that its dimensions are only 72x72x44.5mm. This compact design makes it very easy to place and arrange in most different work spaces. Despite its tiny size, the device contains a good and diverse set of connection ports. GMK G5S is equipped with three USB 3.2 Type A ports, one USB Type C port, one 3.5mm audio port, one Gigabit Ethernet network port, and one HDMI 2.0 display port.

The compact computer relies on the Intel Celeron N5095 processor, which is a classic processor belonging to the Jasper Lake series. This low-power processor is paired with 8GB of LPDDR4 RAM memory. The company offers two options for storage space. While the random access memory cannot be increased or expanded, the device contains an M.2 slot that can accommodate 2242 SSD storage units such as the Transcend MTS425 unit, which is currently available at a price of $250.53.

The company confirmed that the small desktop computer features a heat pipe made of copper, which integrates with a nearly completely silent cooling fan. Reports state that this developed cooling system allows the processor to deliver stable and continuous performance up to 10W.
