أطلقت شركة HP العديد من أجهزة الكمبيوتر المحمولة بالفعل هذا العام و تواصل الشركة توسيع خط إنتاجها ZBook بإضافة المزيد من الطرازات وللتذكير تبيع HP بالفعل إصدارات بمقاس 14 inch من جهاز ZBook 8 G2 مع معالجات من شركتي AMD و Intel و تقدم الشركة أيضاً طرازاً بمقاس 16 inch على مستوى العالم يعتمد على منصة Panther Lake التابعة لشركة Intel ليحل هذا الجهاز محل طراز ZBook 8 G1i 16 الأقدم والمعروض حالياً بسعر 2399 دولار ويضيف جهاز ZBook 8 G2i 16 لوحة مفاتيح أرقام مدمجة numberpad مقارنة بالإصدار الأصغر ZBook 8 G2i 14

وكما توضح الصور فإن هذا القرار دفع لوحة المفاتيح الخاصة بالطراز الأخير جهة اليسار حيث قامت HP أيضاً بوضع لوحة اللمس الميكانيكية trackpad في منتصف لوحة المفاتيح بدلاً من منتصف هيكل اللابتوب ونتيجة لذلك تم إزاحة لوحة اللمس الخاصة بجهاز ZBook قليلاً إلى الجانب

و يمكن تكوين جهاز ZBook 8 G2i 16 مع ذاكرة عشوائية تصل إلى سعة 64 جيجا من فئة DDR5 5600 RAM ومساحة تخزين بحجم 2 TB من فئة PCIe Gen 5 كما تقدم HP مجموعة واسعة من خيارات المعالجات تتراوح بين Core Ultra 5 325 و Core Ultra X9 388H vPro وكل ما بينهما وعلاوة على ذلك يمكن تكوين الحاسوب المحمول مع بطاقة رسوميات Nvidia RTX Pro 500 Blackwell وبطاريات بقدرة 68 Wh أو 77 Wh

وفي الوقت الحالي تبدأ الأسعار الرسمية للجهاز من 2938 دولار في أسواق الولايات المتحدة ولكنها ترتفع لتتجاوز 6500 دولار عند اختيار معالج Core Ultra X9 388H vPro وذاكرة عشوائية سعة 64 جيجا بمفردهما وعلى النقيض من ذلك فإن نسخة معالج Core Ultra 7 356H التي تضم ذاكرة عشوائية سعة 32 جيجا ومساحة تخزين بحجم 1 TB من فئة SSD وشاشة بدقة 1200p تبلغ تكلفتها 2923 يورو في منطقة اليورو وفي الوقت نفسه يبدأ سعر ZBook 8 G2i 16 من 2452 جنيه إسترليني في أسواق المملكة المتحدة للنسخة التي تأتي مع معالج Core Ultra X7 368H وذاكرة عشوائية سعة 32 جيجا ومساحة تخزين بحجم 1 TB من فئة SSD وشاشة متطورة بدقة 2.4K ومعدل تحديث 120 Hz

HP has already launched several laptops this year and continues to expand its ZBook production line by adding more models. To recap, HP already sells 14-inch versions of the ZBook 8 G2 with processors from AMD and Intel. The company also offers a 16-inch model worldwide based on Intel's Panther Lake platform. This device replaces the older ZBook 8 G1i 16, currently available for $2399. The ZBook 8 G2i 16 adds an integrated numberpad to its keyboard compared to the smaller ZBook 8 G2i 14.

As shown in the images, this decision pushed the keyboard of the latter model to the left. HP also placed the mechanical trackpad in the middle of the keyboard instead of the middle of the laptop's frame. As a result, the touchpad of the ZBook was slightly shifted to the side.

The ZBook 8 G2i 16 can be configured with up to 64GB of DDR5 5600 RAM and a 2TB PCIe Gen 5 storage drive. HP offers a wide range of processor options, from the Core Ultra 5 325 to the Core Ultra X9 388H vPro and everything in between. Additionally, the laptop can be configured with an Nvidia RTX Pro 500 Blackwell graphics card and batteries with capacities of either 68Wh or 77Wh.

Alternatively, these batteries can be paired with integrated Intel Arc B370 or Arc B390 iGPUs. HP also offers nearly a dozen different display options. While there are no OLED panels, there are two variable refresh rate displays supporting VRR technology at 120Hz. One produces a resolution of up to 3840x2400 pixels with a maximum brightness level of 500 nits, while others have maximum brightness levels of up to 800 nits.

Currently, the official price for the device starts at $2,938 in US markets but rises to over $6,500 when selecting the Core Ultra X9 388H vPro processor and 64GB of RAM separately. In contrast, the Core Ultra 7 356H version with 32GB of RAM, 1TB SSD storage, and a 1200p display costs €2,923 in the Eurozone. Meanwhile, the ZBook 8 G2i 16 starts at £2,452 in the UK markets for the version that comes with the Core Ultra X7 368H processor, 32GB of RAM, 1TB SSD storage, an advanced 2.4K display with a 120 Hz refresh rate.
