Lenovo showcased its new gaming tablet, the Legion Y700 Ultimate, in a promotional video after confirming earlier that it would be officially announced in August.

The device appears to bear the name Legion Y700 Ultimate, although the naming came from an automated translation from Chinese, meaning it may differ upon official release.

The device comes with 5G connectivity support, along with a physical SIM slot and eSIM, as well as dual-standby (Dual SIM Dual Standby) mode for both chips to run simultaneously.

Lenovo has also made some design modifications compared to the Legion Y700 (Gen 5), which was released in March without 5G support, confirming that the new antenna design ensures maintaining connection quality regardless of how the user holds the device.

The company has not yet revealed any other specifications, so it remains unknown whether the device will rely on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor found in the previous version.

Despite this, footage indicates that the device retains its small size and portability, while it is noted that the Legion Y700 (Gen 5) comes with an 8.8-inch screen with a resolution of 1904 x 3040 pixels.
