Lenovo officially launched its new 2in1 laptop globally, and this expanded global launch includes markets in East Asia, North America, and Southeast Asian countries after the company unveiled the ThinkPad T14s 2 in 1 Gen 2 for the first time last March. It waited more than two months before starting actual sales as the official new alternative to the older Gen 1 model currently on offer for $1,299.

The new laptop primarily relies on the advanced Intel Panther Lake processor platform. Lenovo provides the device with multiple processor options, including Core Ultra 5 335 vPro and Core Ultra 7 355, as well as Core Ultra 7 365 vPro alongside Core Ultra 7 356H and Core Ultra 7 366H processors. However, for undisclosed reasons, only specific options reached North American markets, including the Core Ultra 5 325 processor, Core Ultra 7 355, and Core Ultra 7 365 vPro.

As a result of the different processor distribution between regions, the ThinkPad T14s 2 in 1 Gen 2 can be configured with up to 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM within the markets of Canada and the United States only, while East Asia and Southeast Asian markets received stronger versions that come with massive 64GB RAM paired with higher-performance processors. The laptop comes with an internal storage capacity of up to 1TB in M.2 2280 format and features 1200p displays with a refresh rate of 60 Hz, while some have maximum brightness levels of 500 nits in SDR mode with full coverage of the sRGB standard color range.

Furthermore, the new device includes a 58 Wh battery and an integrated smart pen called Garaged Pen, as well as additional options for supporting cellular modem devices, a smart card reader. Lenovo has packed all these advanced technical components into a sturdy external structure with dimensions of 313x224 x 12.06 or 17.84 mm and a total weight of about 1.35 kg.

The official prices for the device start at $1,689 in US markets and reach CAD 2,438 in Canada. In contrast, the new laptop is available for HKD 14,045 in Hong Kong markets and MYR 7,329 in Malaysia, while its price in Singapore reaches SGD 2,676.
