Fujairah, August 20 (WAM) - The Fujairah Scientific Club discussed with a number of government bodies in the emirate ways to enhance cooperation in research and scientific and technical innovation and initiatives that can be developed into practical projects.

The meetings included delegations from Fujairah Municipality, Fujairah Hospital, and the Civil Defence Department. They discussed potential areas for collaboration on project development, as well as work mechanisms and implementation according to a scientific, technical, and professional methodology.

During the meetings, Dr. Saif Al Ma'ali, Director of the Club, stressed that the club's remit extends to specialized research, development, and implementation through idea evaluation, technical and engineering vision formulation, and identifying appropriate implementation methods for each project. It also enhances the role of the club in driving innovation within government work and finding innovative solutions to various challenges. The importance of building effective partnerships with government bodies was emphasized, which will help utilize scientific and technical expertise and capabilities, support those with ideas and innovations, and develop projects that have a tangible impact across different fields.

He indicated that the next stage will see work on crystallizing a number of proposed ideas into scientific and technical projects that are feasible, according to clear professional criteria including studying the idea, identifying requirements, developing an implementation plan, and reaching the application model and targeted results. The reception of government delegations confirms the role played by the club in supporting the research and innovation system in the emirate, and promoting a culture of applied scientific projects, which contributes to creating innovative solutions and investing knowledge and expertise for sustainable development.
