HMD announced the new Nokia 300 Charge, which combines the design of traditional phones with a large battery that supports charging other devices, in a move reflecting the spread of high-capacity batteries beyond the world of smartphones.

The company equipped the phone with a 3700 mAh battery, which is more than double the capacity of many conventional phones. The USB-C port supports charging at 10 watts, and the phone can also be used to charge other devices at 10 watts via a dedicated external charging button on its side.

HMD says the phone can operate for more than 40 days in standby mode, providing up to 37 hours of calls. However, it relies only on 2G networks, which may limit its use in some countries.

The phone includes an upper LED light that the company says is four times brighter than the Nokia 105’s light, as well as a simple camera with a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels.

The Nokia 300 Charge comes in a design that suggests durability, with decorative sides and options in sand color and green, but it does not carry any official rating for water or shock resistance.

It also includes an LCD screen measuring 2.4 inches, runs on the S30+ system and is powered by the Unisoc SC6531E processor, along with 4 MB of RAM and 4 MB of internal storage, with support for microSD cards up to 32 GB and a 3.5 mm headphone jack.

The phone is currently available in some Asian markets at a price starting from around $35, and it is sold in some stores under the name Nokia 300 Power Bank.
