Asus Launches a Powerful Competitor to the MacBook Pro with Ryzen AI 9 Processor and 120Hz OLED Screen! This appeared on Tech News Today.

Asus launched a new version of ProArt Creation 16 in China, featuring AMD Ryzen AI 9 H 465 processor and dedicated RTX 5070 Laptop graphics card, along with powerful specifications targeting professional users.

The device comes with a slim design measuring 14.9 mm thick and weighing 1.8 kg, while it features a 16-inch OLED screen with a 2.8K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, with brightness up to 1,100 nits.

The laptop includes 64GB of LPDDR5X RAM, along with a 2TB SSD storage unit, with the possibility of expanding storage through two M.2 ports.

Ryzen AI 9 H 465 relies on 10 cores and 20 processing threads, with a speed up to 4.9 GHz. To maintain temperatures, Asus uses three fans and four heat pipes.

Although the processor's performance is lower than Apple M5 Pro's 15-core processor in comparative tests, the device excels in the graphics department thanks to its dedicated RTX 5070 card, while MacBook Pro relies on the integrated graphics within M5 Pro.

The device also offers a wide range of ports, including HDMI 2.1, USB4, two USB-A ports, two USB-C ports, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, and an SD card reader.

The price of the Ryzen AI 9 H 465 release with RTX 5070 is about 22,999 yuan, which is approximately $3,420. Asus has not yet announced the prices or availability in other markets.
