Gemini is now helping you discover and fix problems with the Pixel 11 phone on Tech Without Borders.

Google is testing a new feature called “Device help” within the Pixel 11 phones, which relies on Gemini to assist users in solving device-related issues directly through a conversation with the smart assistant.

The feature currently appears within the "+" add menu in Gemini, directly below the list and before the Personal Intelligence option. However, it seems that Google is rolling it out as part of a limited test at this time, as some users have seen it through Google app version 17.52.

The feature carries the Labs label, confirming that it is still in the experimental phase. Through Gemini, you can ask questions about the phone, adjust certain settings, and help discover and solve problems, as well as explain various Pixel features.

The assistance includes issues related to connectivity, battery consumption, sound, and app performance. Users can also request help with storage space management, reviewing space usage, checking app permissions, managing notifications, and adjusting app timers.

Additionally, Gemini provides step-by-step guidance on using the phone’s features, gestures, camera, and privacy settings, which could make solving daily problems easier without having to manually search within the settings.
