HMD topic reveals four new AI-enabled Nokia smartphones - Tech News

HMD announced four new Nokia branded smartphones, confirming its continued support for the traditional phone category while adding artificial intelligence technologies to this series for the first time.

The new lineup includes the Nokia 200 4G, Nokia 210 4G, Nokia 215 4G second edition and Nokia 235 4G second edition. All are equipped with a smart assistant that operates directly on the device and can be accessed via a dedicated AI button located in the middle of the control panel.

The smart assistant relies on Sikey AI platform, allowing users to ask questions and perform some phone functions using voice commands.

According to official specifications pages, AI services will be free for 180 days, after which they will require a paid subscription. A smartphone is required to complete the subscription process.

The new phones also support Xpress Chat feature for video calls, depending on built-in VGA cameras.

Nokia 210 4G and Nokia 215 4G come with a 2.4-inch QVGA screen, while Nokia 200 4G and Nokia 235 4G get a larger IPS display of 2.8 inches with the same resolution.

Regarding cameras, Nokia 200 4G and Nokia 235 4G include a rear camera, while the latter provides a 2-megapixel sensor.

All the phones run on S30+, include a 1450 mAh battery, support Bluetooth 5.0, have a 3.5 mm headphone jack, FM radio and USB-C charging port.

HMD has not yet revealed prices or release dates for the phones.
